What is your best advice on finding a true gem for your home?
“I would say, if you are looking for a true gem, the important thing is not to rush, not to be content with something that just fits, but to take your time and wait for the piece that you will really love.
We’ve heard about the concept of slow renovation which I completely agree with. It means being patient, and sometimes finding things in the wrong order, perhaps a little accessory before a more essential piece.
I think this way you will find things that you will not tire of for years and they will be the ones passed through generations.
Of course, as an antiques seller, most of the pieces I find for my own home are antique or vintage.”
